Your journey begins with a departure from Ho Chi Minh City, followed by a drive to Can Gio. Upon arrival, you will embark on a serene boat trip through the protected mangrove forest, one of Vietnam’s vital biosphere reserves. Afterward, you’ll take a ferry across the estuary bay to reach Vung Tau, approximately 120 kilometers away.

In Vung Tau, you’ll be invited to travel along the scenic beachfront road to visit Villa Blanche, a historic property once owned by King Bao Dai. Perched on a hillside overlooking the bay, this villa is an elegant example of colonial architecture, with its interior now serving as a small museum housing a collection of unique antiques.

The sightseeing tour of Vung Tau continues with a visit to the imposing Christ the Redeemer statue, prominently situated on a hilltop. This statue bears a striking resemblance to the famous Christ the Redeemer in Corcovado, Rio de Janeiro. If time permits and you’re up for the challenge, you can ascend the more than 700 stone steps to reach the hilltop. At the base of the statue, you’ll notice two imposing cannons pointed toward the bay, presenting a striking contrast between the Prince of Peace and the weapons of war.

After exploring Vung Tau, you’ll embark on a scenic 50-kilometer drive along the coastal road to Ho Tram, passing by a series of sandy beaches. Upon arrival in Ho Tram, you’ll check into one of the luxury resorts for a relaxing stay.
